[Request] A-Lima Alyx

Greetings.

I may sound like a lazybum by asking this, but once, like a year ago, I tried doing it on my own and went horribly wrong, since I don't know squat about modelling or how HL2 handles model files.


I played with lots of different versions of CM all these years: 4, 7, 8, 9... It always looked really great (except that I always preferred the vanilla player models instead), but I just don't want to spend that much time downloading and installing a huge load of textures, I'm content with playing the vanilla game.

With that boring introduction, my request is this:


The ONLY thing I want is to replace Alyx (in all 3 games -HL2, EP1 & EP2-) with the Adrianna Lima version that came in CM7~CM8 and afterwards.

I really don't want to download gigabytes of textures just to be able to do that, too much trouble just to have that Alyx, once I tried grabbing what I thought were the models in the CM and moving them to the HL2 folder but as I said, it went horribly wrong.

Is there any way to replace Alyx with that version? I would be eternally grateful if someone made this "mod" for me (as I don't have any CM anymore, so I don't have the Adrianna Lima Alyx either), or told me what to download and where to place the files needed so the vanilla Alyx gets replaced in all 3 games.

you'll going to need at least one base version,that means BIG download ......

choose the version you want,remember not all versions include certain models!

......i play with version 10.20 and not 10.30! (i down graded!)

Do I REALLY need one of the base versions?

Remember the only thing I want is that Alyx, not the graphic/texture overhaul, nor the other HD models, only her.


May I ask of you or someone else with knowledge in this issue to upload that Alyx for download? Like... you know how someone in facepunch made ZeroSuit Samus as an Alyx replacement, that's exactly what I want, but with Lima Alyx .

No you don't need one. Use this one if you like http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=45049 This model has original Alyx face. If you wish to use one with Adriana's face I have it on my Garry's Mod, but firstly somebody needs to hex it to replace the original Alyx.

Thanks, and how do you go around hexing Adrianna's face in there?

Actually we wouldn't need to hack the head.I have this model

Yes, that's exactly what I mean. Unfortunately 'm not very keen on hexing so you would want to find another person on this forum, who might get the job done.Here's the model that needs to be hexed

NOTE: this version of Alyx-Lima is older and it doesn't support jiggle bones feature.

I would need someone to do what's required with that model you uploaded. Otherwise, I would need a tutorial or something like that on how to make it work.

I just tried hexing by myself and it seem to work just fine on my Garry's Mod. It may not work in HL2EP2 part where Alyx is being stabbed by the hunter 'cause then it switches to another injured model version of Alyx.
